Yet they kept the world at bay

Casts more fears away

This seedling is seeking
new reaches of sky

I hit a big home run
Yet scored no points at all
For though I had the greatest swing
The game was basketball
Out of the Shadows, into the Light
Like a shadow that’s cast ten times larger
Than the object in front of the light
My guilt seems to grow that much bigger
The more it is hidden from sight
